The recruitment of volunteers for the World Games of Friendship 2024, which will take place from September 15 to 29 in Moscow and Yekaterinburg, continues. Volunteers will have a unique opportunity to meet famous athletes and artists, participate in organizing a large-scale international event, improve their organizational and communication skills in various languages, as well as make new friends and establish extensive international contacts. To participate, you must: be over 18 years old, have a sufficient level of English and Russian, pass online selection, and undergo training in August. Volunteers will provide support in organizing and conducting competitions across 26 functional areas. After passing the selection and training, volunteers are sent to one of the two host cities of the games. The period of volunteer involvement depends on the chosen functional role. In some positions, shifts begin several weeks before the start of the competitions, while in others, involvement is possible only on the days of the Games. The organizers of the Games provide visa support, meals, insurance, and free public transport in the city, as well as accommodation for foreign volunteers.
