The Kaliningrad car assembly plant "Avtotor" has patented logos and the emblem for the new Ambervan brand, reports the Telegram channel "Avtopotok" on June 3. The company has not yet announced plans for the launch of this brand. It is assumed that under the Ambervan brand, production of light commercial vehicles of European format with a semi-hood configuration will begin. Such models exist with Avtotor's partner, the Chinese brand JMC. Earlier this year, Avtotor launched the brands "Amberauto" and "Ambertruck". Under the first, electric vehicles JMEV Yi are produced, and under the second, light and medium trucks. Avtotor announced the start of sales of the new medium-duty truck Ambertruck SM, with the vehicle's price starting at 489 million rubles. Ambertruck SM is produced at the Avtotor plant in the Kaliningrad region. The truck is equipped with a 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine with a power of 170 hp (592 Nm), in combination with a 6-speed manual transmission.
