On May 18, the "Safe Planet" conference was held, organized by the "Perm Regional Center for Foreign Students" of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Perm Territory with the support of the anti-terrorism commission in the Perm Territory. The conference was dedicated to countering the ideology of terrorism and extremism through social institutions such as education, sports, culture, and religion. Students from Perm universities from Morocco, China, Iran, Egypt, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, India, and Russia gave presentations. They talked about how security is ensured in their home countries and what actions are taken in the fight against extremism and terrorism. Experts at the event were representatives of relevant government agencies in the Perm Territory. The guest of honor at the conference was the Minister of Education and Science of the Perm Territory – Raisa Kassina. In total, 29 people participated in the conference, 15 of whom gave presentations. Following the conference, all participants were awarded certificates and a tour to Kungur.
