The Russian Ministry of Education and the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science have approved the schedule for the Unified State Exam (EGE) in 2025. Main Period: May 23: History, Literature, Chemistry May 27: Mathematics (basic and advanced levels) May 30: Russian Language June 2: Social Studies, Physics June 5: Biology, Geography, Foreign Languages (written part) June 10 and 11: Foreign Languages (oral part), Informatics July 3 and 4: Retakes Early Period: March 21: Geography, Literature March 25: Russian Language March 28: Mathematics (basic and advanced levels) April 1: Biology, Foreign Languages (written part), Physics April 4: Foreign Languages (oral part) April 8: Informatics, Social Studies April 11: History, Chemistry Minimum Scores for University Admission (2025/2026): 42 points: Russian Language 39 points: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology 42 points: Social Studies 35 points: History 44 points: Informatics 30 points: Foreign Languages 40 points: Literature, Geography Compared to the previous year, the minimum score for Social Studies has decreased from 45 to 42, while for Russian Language, it has increased from 40 to 42. According to Rosobrnadzor, no significant changes are expected in EGE 2025. Any changes are announced at least two years in advance. One potential innovation could be the introduction of a unified preparation program for the exam.
