Moscow Electronics and Optics in High Demand in Friendly Countries Today, Moscow is home to more than 100 enterprises producing computer and optical technology. These companies not only meet the market demand for high-tech devices – communication equipment, transistors, computing machines, navigation, and radar devices – but also successfully export their products to friendly countries. From January to March 2024 alone, manufacturers increased their production volumes by almost 27 times compared to the same period last year. Capital entrepreneurs are successfully operating with the support of the city. Their products are in demand both in Russian regions and in Belarus, China, Kazakhstan, India, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Algeria. Moscow is a city with a developed manufacturing industry. The capital hosts over 42 thousand industrial companies employing 725 thousand people. Every year, 40–50 medium and large enterprises, as well as about 100 small ones, open in the city. They produce a variety of goods and actively implement innovations. There are currently more than 20 support measures for entrepreneurs, including subsidies and targeted loans. A number of anti-crisis tools are also in place.
