Sber has announced (https://mosds.mos.ru/presscenter/news/detail/12469455.html) the launch of the International Artificial Intelligence Youth Competition, AI Challenge. Participants from any corner of the world up to the age of 17 are invited. The prize fund for the competition is 17 million rubles, which will be divided among the winners in three tracks. The largest prize fund is allocated to the “Research” track. In this track, teams of 2 to 5 people will compete in developing solutions for partner companies using artificial intelligence and neural networks. To participate in the competition, candidates do not need to have deep programming knowledge. By choosing the “Beginners” track, school-level knowledge of mathematics and computer science is sufficient. The organizers have included educational and developmental materials in the program: books, video lectures, courses, and other materials on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and programming. Registration will continue until September 15. The final stage will take place in November. For the team track, the final stage includes an in-person defense of the projects before experts in Moscow.
