The International Youth Weekend "RUS_SVET" will be held in Krasnogorsk, near Moscow. The festival of modern ethnic culture "RUS_SVET in the Moscow Region" will take place on August 9 and 10 on the Pavshinskaya Poima embankment in Krasnogorsk, where musicians and artists from 23 regions of Russia, as well as from Zambia, India, China, Lebanon, the republics of Abkhazia and Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, will gather. The festival started with the opening of the "Creative" block at the Arkhangelskoye museum-reserve on August 6. It is held as part of Rossotrudnichestvo's "New Generation" program. The main festival program will include street performances, workshops, a Russian chess tournament, craft circles, a creative fair, sports tournaments and entertainment, quizzes. The festival will conclude with a gala concert featuring the finalists of the ethnic song contest "RUS_FOLK" and well-known artists, where two main winners will be determined. The project aims to revive and continue the ethnic traditions of the peoples of Russia, the BRICS countries, and the CIS.
