More than one and a half million applications were submitted by applicants to domestic universities through the public services portal, reports TASS. Nearly four hundred and seventy thousand applicants used the “Online University Admission” superservice.
Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Dmitry Chernyshenko, called this service a tool that helps strengthen the potential of human resources.
He specified that through the superservice, fifty thousand applicants submitted applications for targeted education.
According to “Russian World,” more than two million applications to universities were submitted through “Gosuslugi” last year. The Ministry of Digital Development reported that 1022 universities are connected to the “University Admission” superservice, and through it, one can apply for bachelor’s and specialist degrees, submit documents for a second higher education, as well as obtain a second higher education for free in creative fields. About five hundred applicants used the “Goskey” application to conclude an online contract with the educational institution for paid education.
