More than 150 couples from different regions got married at the All-Russian Wedding Festival in Moscow It took place as part of the international exhibition "Russia" at VDNH from May 12-19. Many couples decided to hold their weddings in traditional costumes. Among them were newlyweds from Chuvashia, Karelia, Buryatia, Komi, Voronezh region, Penza region, Arkhangelsk, and many others. In addition to the solemn marriage registration, the newlyweds introduced exhibition guests to the traditions of their regions. During the festival, regional pavilions are organized, along with theatrical performances, concerts, and workshops. The opening of the festival was timed to coincide with the folk holiday Krasnaya Gorka, the first Sunday after Easter. Marriages registered on this day are considered the strongest.
