Leaders from eight countries will come to Moscow for the Victory Day parade on May 9, according to RIA "Novosti". This includes heads of state from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Cuba, Laos, and Guinea-Bissau. According to Yuri Ushakov, an assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, leaders of the executive bodies of the CIS, the Union State, CSTO, EAEU, Eurasian Development Bank, Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and several other states have also been invited. They will be joined by heads of diplomatic missions and military attachés from friendly nations. After the parade concludes, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, along with his colleagues, will lay flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Alexander Garden. A reception hosted by the head of state will follow at the Kremlin. As reported by "Russian World," the number of participants in the parade on Red Square on May 9 will exceed nine thousand people. Participants in the special military operation will also march across the capital's central square in honor of Victory Day. Seventy-five units of weaponry and military equipment, including military aircraft, will be involved. Parade participants will be divided into regiments, battalions, companies by types and branches of the armed forces. They will be complemented by SVO units. Joining them will be students from Nakhimov, cadet, and musical schools, members of the "Youth Army," military women, Cossacks, and a combined military band.
