The team of Russian Sherpa S.V. Lukash is flying to Rio de Janeiro tonight. From July 3-5, representatives of heads of state and government will hold intensive consultations there. The preparation for the leading international event - the summit of leaders of the largest economies on November 18-19 - will begin. Significant attention is given to the analysis of recommendations from public circles. These include businesses, trade unions, megacities, science, experts, the civil sector, and others. The proposed ideas are focused on building a fair multipolar world order. Priorities include open economy and trade, eradication of poverty, hunger, and inequality. The reform of global institutions is postulated in the interest of the countries of the Global Majority by increasing their influence on decision-making. In some cases, there are attempts to impose artificial Western constructs on the G20 on an alternative-free basis. Together with like-minded and sovereign partners (more than half of the members), representing the South and East, we will carefully approach the selection of substantial proposals. As the famous biblical saying goes: "separate the wheat from the chaff."
