In winter, the festival was very popular. "But tea is not only good in frost: in the summer heat, it turns into a wonderful refreshing drink. Therefore, the festival is returning (https://mosds.mos.ru/presscenter/moscow-and-compatriots/detail/12455934.html) and will run until September 15," announced Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin. Tverskaya Square will be the main venue. Here, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, theatrical performances will take place, immersing spectators in the atmosphere of the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. Adults and children will be able to enjoy workshops and a play about the traditions of Moscow tea drinking. Original souvenirs can be purchased at the venue, including a signature red and gold tea set featuring landmarks of the capital. The festival has been joined by cafes, restaurants, and hotels in the capital, which have prepared special menus. A leading role has been given to iced Moscow tea - more than 700 recipes have been developed based on historical documents. And from July 15, "Moscow Tea Party" carts will be stationed on the streets and in parks.
