On April 17th, Astana hosted the opening ceremony of the fourth international youth hockey tournament, UTLC ICE COUP 2024 ([source link](https://t.me/utlccup)). This year, the tournament features young hockey players born in 2010 from five countries: SKA Army (Saint Petersburg) Barys (Astana) Dinamo (Minsk) Lokomotiv (Yaroslavl) Humo (Tashkent) Beijing GLC (Beijing) The main mission of the tournament is to strengthen friendly and sports ties between Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and countries from Europe and Asia. It is envisioned as a social project that unites countries across the Eurasian continent, just as railways connect them.
