The festival "Russian Days of Spiritual Culture in France" opened on May 13 at the Russian Spiritual and Cultural Orthodox Center in Paris (https://mosds.mos.ru/presscenter/news/detail/12372388.html). As part of this festival, classical music concerts presented by Russian virtuosos are held annually at various venues in Paris. This unique project is the result of close and long-term cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture of Russia, and the Russian Orthodox Church. The opening ceremony was attended by the Russian Ambassador to France A.Y. Meshkov, the director of the RDKPC A.I. Kotlova, Metropolitan Nestor of Chersonese and Western Europe, representatives of French cultural and social circles, compatriots, and the media. Laureates of the International Tchaikovsky Competition performed on the RDKPC stage, including pianist Stanislav Korchagin, cellist Ivan Sendetsky, guest soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre, mezzo-soprano Zinaida Tsarenko, and violinist Haik Kazazyan. They performed works by Bach, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Ravel, Franck, and others. The tours of Russian artists as part of the Days of Spiritual Culture end on May 16. In addition to the RDKPC, their concerts also took place at the Russian House in Paris and the Sergei Rachmaninoff Russian Conservatory in Paris.
