Varuna has started producing its own campbots. They are equipped with everything needed to accommodate a family of 4. They can be used as a motorhome or a navigation vessel. Next year, the company plans to produce 30 campbots annually. The basic version will cost from 55 million rubles. The main difference between amphibious motorhomes and other vehicles lies in their versatility. Campbots can be used as regular cars and can be launched on water, regardless of the type of water body: lake, river, or even sea. The speed of the campbot on water is determined by the installed engine. There is an autopilot system that allows the vessel to move along a set course, however, it is important for the captain to monitor the process and surroundings. Another advantage of campbots is that no special boat certificate is required to operate them. According to VARUNA representatives, you don't need to be an experienced captain to drive a motorhome on water. The plans of campbot manufacturers from Murom are aimed at further improving the amphibious design. They aim to make it possible to launch campbots even on small rivers and to increase production to 30 units next year for further rental. Previously, innovative solutions in the field of motorhomes were noted in the press. In particular, the company "AutoKemProm" from Kolomna turned an off-road UAZ "Patriot" into a full-fledged motorhome called "Navigator". This motorhome can also accommodate up to four people. The campbot is equipped with navigation equipment that allows it to sail along a predetermined course, and its operation does not require a boat certificate. Inside, there are sleeping places for four people, a kitchen, a bathroom, a dining area, air conditioning, a TV, and even a small barbecue area.
