The search movement of Moldova carried out planned landscaping of the military cemetery at the "Șerpeni Bridgehead" memorial complex. On a 0.20 ha plot, grass was mowed, and the consequences of heavy rains that damaged several military graves were eliminated. The military cemetery of the "Șerpeni Bridgehead" memorial complex is the only one in the Republic of Moldova where burial ceremonies for Soviet soldiers discovered during search operations are conducted. Over the past 11 years, more than 300 soldiers and officers of the Red Army who died for the liberation of Moldova from fascism have found eternal peace here.
