The LNR Bodybuilding Championship, dedicated to the Day of the Reunification of Donbass and Novorossiya with the Russian Federation, brought together athletes from the LNR, DNR, Krasnodar and Stavropol territories, the Republics of Crimea and Tatarstan, as well as the Rostov region. Athletes competed in fitness and bodybuilding categories: women's/men's fitness (up to 9 years old), women's/men's fitness (juniors), women's/men's bodybuilding (juniors), fitness bikini, and beach bodybuilding. The total prize fund amounted to 200,000 rubles. "The LNR Bodybuilding Federation is developing by leaps and bounds. It attracts a large number of athletes from other regions, constantly expands disciplines, and holds competitions at a very high level," said LNR Minister of Sports Oleg Shereneshev. Bodybuilding is a sport that requires strength, grace, and beauty. "I am incredibly proud of my Republic, that such major championships are held here and that bodybuilding is developing at such a rapid pace," said Mark Zhdudin, winner in the men's bodybuilding category (juniors). He noted that this championship is larger than the previous one: the prize fund has doubled, there are many more participants, and the stage space has increased.
