The first World Russian Language Championship for foreign citizens has been announced.
Registration has begun for teams to participate in the first World Russian Language Championship for foreign citizens, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
Teams of foreign citizens aged 16 to 22, consisting of 5 people and a coach—a Russian language teacher working abroad—are invited to participate.
To reach the finals, participants will need to complete registration, selection, and remote team competitions.
Coaches will undergo a free training program to prepare the team for participation in the championship, after which they will receive certification of advanced training.
Finalists will travel to St. Petersburg in December, where they will compete in the final stages for the title of World Champion in Russian Language.
You can find the participation rules and register on the official website (https://russianchampionship.com/) until September 20, 2024.
