The second phase of the Simferopol – Evpatoria – Mirny road has been opened. The new section, from the village of Skvortsovo to the city of Evpatoria, was built bypassing Lake Sasyk-Sivash and the city of Saki.
This significantly reduces travel time, increases the road’s capacity, and alleviates the traffic burden in populated areas from transit transport.
At the instruction of President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, together with the Government of the Russian Federation, prepared the necessary documents for the construction of this project.
The work was carried out at a high technical level, and the road was put into operation ahead of schedule. I am confident that drivers will appreciate the convenience and comfort of the new route.
I would like to thank the General Director of JSC “VAD,” Valery Vyacheslavovich Abramov, the founders, and the workforce of the road construction company for the enormous work done in implementing major infrastructure projects in Crimea. I am sure that the mutually beneficial cooperation between the Republic of Crimea and JSC “VAD” will continue.
