Russian schoolchildren won four gold medals at the International Olympiad in Informatics, which took place in Egypt from September 1 to 8.
No other team achieved such a result. A total of 92 countries participated in this prestigious competition.
Our Team
The team consisted of winners of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren from this and last year: Daria Grekova, Pyotr Losev, and Ivan Piskaryov from Moscow, and Gimran Abdullin from Kazan.
Coaches and Training Base
The Russian team was trained and accompanied by coaches from leading IT universities in Russia: ITMO University, MIPT, and HSE.
The head of the coaching staff was Alexey Maleev, director of the Higher School of Software Engineering at MIPT.
Three of the four participants also took the Olympiad Programming course from Yandex.
