From August 1st to September 8th, the “City of Light” media art festival will take place in Zaryadye Park as part of the “Territory of the Future” forum-festival. Park visitors will be able to view twenty light installations, many of which were created specifically for the festival. Works by authors from Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod, joint projects between Russia and Malta, media art from Peru and Japan, as well as art objects by an artist from China, will be showcased in Zaryadye. In particular, visitors will have the opportunity to see the interactive sculpture Saulux, which uses neural network technologies to transform wind into a light and sound artwork. Additionally, audiences will be introduced to Florpass, a cyber flower art object with dynamic light effects and sound accompaniment.
