On October 5th, a gala concert of the 15th International Charity Festival "White Cane" will be held in Moscow with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo.
More than 35 talented performers from various countries will take the stage. In total, 950 visually impaired children from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan participated in the preliminary selection rounds. The finalists will perform on the same stage with famous artists such as Philipp Kirkorov, Polina Gagarina, and others.
The festival’s aim is to integrate visually impaired or blind children into cultural and social life.
“I am very happy that over the years, our Festival has brought together talented children from all corners of Russia and other countries. Our finalists embody not only musical talent but also courage, strength of spirit, faith in themselves, and belief in their dreams. These qualities help the children overcome any obstacles and life situations. Our Festival becomes an important stepping stone for them on the path to new creative achievements,” shared Diana Gurtskaya, People’s Artist of Russia and the festival’s inspirational leader.
From October 13th to 16th, the young guests will enjoy an engaging cultural program.
