On July 27, a grand event took place in Moscow's "Khodynskoe Pole" park: the social solidarity festival with people with rare diseases, "Rare Heat." This is the first and only event of the year where remarkably fragile yet resilient "rare" adults and parents with children from various regions of the country gather to forget about their diagnoses and share stories of their ordinary lives and extraordinary achievements. Festival guests met those who help and support the "rare." Interactive educational lounges were opened. For children, outdoor activities, animation programs with clowns, mimes, and zones for creativity and relaxation were organized throughout the day. Henna artists drew henna tattoos for everyone. Players from the Capital Sharks American football club of the East European Super League taught attendees how to throw the ball and score goals. The Russian Table Tennis Association held a ping-pong master class. Members of the Bikers Brothers MC Russia motorcycle club shared everything about biker subculture and allowed people to sit behind the wheel of Harleys. The highlight of the festival's daytime program was the talk show "Let the Patients Speak." In the evening, musicians, patients, doctors, activists, and politicians took the stage to talk about the achievements in the field of rare diseases made by our country. The festival host was Channel One TV presenter, Professor Andrei Petrovich Prodeus. The headliner was a participant of the TV project "Voice 2" on Channel One, and expert of the musical show "All Together Now" on Channel Russia 1, Eteri Beriashvili.
