On Saturday, October 19, during the Decade of Science and Technology, Skoltech will organize "A Weekend with DNA"—a festival for anyone who wants to get closer to science and try their hand at being a scientist.
Guests will enjoy a lecture by Skoltech Associate Professor and Doctor of Biological Sciences, Ekaterina Khrameeva, on DNA packaging, the 3D structure of this molecule, regulatory systems, and how the structure affects cell function in health and disease.
At the workshop, participants will have the chance to extract DNA themselves under the guidance of scientists and learn why this is the most important molecule.
The festival will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the campus located at: IC Skolkovo, Bolshoi Boulevard 30, building 1.
Participation is free, but the number of participants is limited. You can register for the event via the https://lecturehub.skoltech.ru/weekend_dna?utm_source=2024+2025&utm_medium=lecture&utm_campaign=nonpaid_pr_lecture_weekend_dna_191024&clckid=af180a71
