Registration for international participants for the All-Russian Youth Forum "ШУМ" has begun. At the forum, which this year will for the first time include an international track, content creators and young journalists from around the world will be able to: exchange professional experience and contribute to the development of an open international youth dialogue; meet with representatives of major media holdings and editorial offices; solve various cases and learn about career growth opportunities. Dates: October 26 – November 1, 2024. Location: Kaliningrad Region. The forum is open to young journalists, bloggers, copywriters, social media managers, PR specialists, and other representatives of the media industry from different countries aged 18 to 35. The All-Russian Youth Forum "ШУМ" under the Rosmolodezh.Events lineup is a key event of the Year-Round Youth Educational Center "ШУМ" in the Kaliningrad Region. The event's theme will focus on the professional development of young media specialists. The forum aims to develop the competencies of media specialists, assist in the implementation of promising projects, and support the employment of young professionals in the industry. The event will include four educational programs: ШУМ.Media Technologists (18-35 years old) An educational program for representatives of state and municipal administration, youth policy, press secretaries of government, civic, and business organizations, sociologists, PR specialists, and media and political technologists involved in communication between the state and the population. ШУМ.Media Experiments (14-17 years old) An educational program aimed at providing participants with basic knowledge and skills in the media field, career guidance for young people aged 14 to 17 in media professions, and the formation of directions for the participant's further educational track in the media field, including through mentoring. ШУМ.Blogging and Production (18-35 years old) Within this educational program, photographers, video content creators, designers, digital product developers, marketers, bloggers, and other representatives of the media sphere will meet. Young people from the Central Asian region are also welcome to participate. ШУМ.Industry 5.0 Journalism (18-35 years old) An educational program for specialists from regional and federal media, civic journalists, and bloggers. Citizens of the Republic of Belarus are invited to participate. Forum participants will have the opportunity to find new, creative solutions in creating photo and video products, develop algorithms for various production formats using artificial intelligence, implement media projects, participate in a team competition to solve real customer cases, and find mentors.
