On Russia Day, a young Nakhimov cadet played the national anthem of his beloved country on a piano set up on Russky Island
A touching "performance," if the word is appropriate, on Russky Island is becoming a cherished tradition. Today, June 12, a young man—a cadet from the Nakhimov Naval School—came to the piano installed on Cape Vyatlina and began to play. Although the instrument was clearly out of tune, the atmosphere of the moment, when the national anthem soared over the sea, over the oceans on the winds, was not spoiled and even added a special charm.
Happy Russia Day!
