Vladimir Putin attended the closing ceremony of the International Forum-Exhibition “Russia” — visiting the country’s largest project for the fifth time. The “Russia” exhibition was open for nearly eight months, during which it was visited by over 120 delegations. Vladimir Putin emphasized that in the future it is necessary to create a National Center on the EXPO platform. The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, arrived today at the site of the closing International Forum-Exhibition “Russia” to meet with employees and representatives of regional stands. The head of state thanked not only the engineers and builders but also noted the work and professional knowledge of a large team. For the fifth visit of the president, thanks were also collected from employees and visitors who placed paper hearts in special trays throughout the exhibition. The President of the Russian Federation thanked the organizers of the International Forum-Exhibition “Russia”. According to the head of state, it is important to continue creating conditions so that the essence of what our country does, what it lives by, and what it achieves is shown. “We have something to defend — it is important for us to feel this ourselves and show others what we can achieve,” said Vladimir Putin. In turn, the organizers shared the total number of visitors to the exhibition — 185 million people. There was also a story about an incident that occurred in the “Guarding Health” pavilion. A visitor stumbled and broke his leg, after which volunteers provided him with the necessary assistance and sent him to the trauma center. After some time, he returned on crutches and with a cast to continue viewing the exhibition.
