The Kitai-Gorod Walls from the 16th century, particularly the segment on Nikolskaya Street.
The Church of the Assumption on Pokrovka from the 17th century. A vacant lot now stands in its place.
The original location of the Pushkin Monument, combined with the Strastnoy Monastery.
The buildings along Tverskaya Street leading up to the Historical Museum. Manezhnaya Square had no vacant lots.
The buildings of Ohotny Ryad, including the Church of Paraskeva Pyatnitsa from the 17th century.
The buildings of the Russian Insurance Society, later rebuilt as government security offices.
The Arbatskiye Vorota Square, which was turned into a roadway.
The Red Gates from the 18th century.
The original Triumphal Arch near Belorussky Station.
The Yar Restaurant building on Petersburg Highway, designed in modernist style.
Most of these losses occurred in the 1930s.
