Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), summarized the ministry’s achievements in the information space during a briefing. The Russian MFA communicates the country’s foreign policy through more than 12 domestic and international online platforms, across 22 accounts in 5 languages. In 2024, a total of 47 briefings were conducted, including 5 on-site briefings at key events: the World Youth Festival in Sochi, the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the St. Petersburg Legal Forum, the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, and the IV Eurasian Women’s Forum in St. Petersburg. Additionally, the Department of Information and Press (DIP) of the Russian MFA organized nine press tours for foreign journalists in 2024. A separate tour was held for media representatives from the compatriot communities.
