In Moscow parks, you can find dozens of tree trunks with such artworks. This is an ecological action called "ParkArt," which has been conducted since 2016.
Activists choose trees with trunk damage and large vertical holes or hollows.
They carefully clean the affected areas of the bark, disinfect them, and apply two layers of water-repellent primer.
Then, volunteer artists paint on them with special acrylic paints. These are safe and do not harm the tree, and even help to reinforce the healing effect. In this way, more than 200 trees have already been saved.
