Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has signed a decree on public and non-working days for 2025. According to the document, citizens will work 247 days and rest for 118 days next year. The longest holiday period will be the New Year holidays, starting on December 29, 2024, and lasting for 11 days. In honor of Defender of the Fatherland Day, which falls on a Sunday, and International Women's Day on March 8, which falls on a Saturday, no additional days off are provided. These will be moved to May 8 and June 13. The day off on November 1 has been moved from Saturday to Monday, November 3, extending the November holidays to three days. The non-working days in 2025 will be:
January 1-8 (the New Year holidays begin on December 29, 2024);
May 1-4;
May 8-11;
June 12-15;
November 2-4;
December 31.
