A car rally on the Garden Ring, distribution of stickers and ribbons, and a film screening will take place in Moscow to celebrate Russia's National Flag Day, according to the press service of the Moscow Committee for Public Relations and Youth Policy. "In anticipation of Flag Day, a series of events will be held in Moscow. Participants of the 'Youth of Moscow' project and activists of the 'StoLitsa' youth community will congratulate the city and its residents on this important national holiday. On the night of August 21-22, activists will hold a car rally on the Garden Ring in the capital, involving over 500 cars," the statement said. The gathering of motorists will begin on Akademik Sakharov Avenue, building 11, where each participant will be able to receive themed attributes and decorate their car with them: the Russian state flag, the Moscow coat of arms, flags of Russia's regions, stylized car stickers, and more. Those interested can also get face painting in the colors of the Russian tricolor. Pre-registration is required for participation. Additionally, on August 22, starting at 12:00 PM, activists of the 'StoLitsa' youth community will give out more than 20,000 stylized sticker packs reflecting the country's cultural features, symbols, and recognizable landmarks, as well as more than 20,000 tricolor ribbons to residents and guests of the capital. Over 40 volunteers will distribute festive attributes to everyone interested in 20 parks across Moscow. This event is being held for the third consecutive year. One of the main venues for Flag Day events will be the youth hub "Teleport," as part of the forum-festival "Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030." It is located on the main square in front of the "Garage" Museum in Gorky Park. At the "Future Competencies" hub, there will be a master class on creating windmills in the colors of the Russian flag. Young artists will perform on the main stage, and the evening will conclude with a film screening of "Battalion" at 6:00 PM.
