In August 2024, the first fully domestic and secure 4G communication and data transmission network in the 350 MHz band was launched at the Federal Protective Service (FSO) sites in Moscow. For the operation of this telecommunications project, Russian-made LTE base stations in the specified frequency range and special smartphones from the "MIG" company, equipped with modems developed by the "Information Systems Laboratory" enterprise, were used. The network is designed to provide secure communication for government authorities. According to the Russian online publication CNews, the IVA Connect messenger, a domestic software solution, was successfully used to test video calls within the network.
