High-tech productions have started in Moscow at the Butovo industrial park. Among the products of the residents are professional care cosmetics, pressed cardboard products, IT equipment, air humidification and conditioning systems, and X-ray diagnostic equipment.
As noted by the capital's minister, the Butovo industrial park, covering more than 59,000 square meters, was commissioned at the end of 2023 as part of a job creation program. Currently, there are six companies producing high-tech products and large construction materials. This park will provide jobs for more than 1,800 residents of the South-Western district, allowing them to work close to home.
Shamil Aminev, CEO of a corporate IT equipment manufacturing company, highlighted the significant increase in consumer interest in Russian-made products in recent years. Due to this, the company had to significantly expand its capacities for producing modern computing equipment, and the Butovo industrial park was chosen for these purposes. Its location near residential areas has reduced logistics costs, simplified the hiring of highly qualified specialists, and made business meetings with clients more convenient.
Since 2020, the MPI program has been active in most city districts. The Moscow government and investors have signed 130 agreements under which more than six million square meters of commercial facilities will be built in the capital: factories, warehouse complexes, offices, stores, as well as educational, cultural, and sports institutions. Over two trillion rubles will be invested in the projects, creating more than 290,000 jobs in almost all sectors of the city's economy.
