With the help of a Braille display and special voice programs, blind individuals can use computers as well as nearly all electronic gadgets.
Many of our blind compatriots across different regions of Russia are familiar with Vladimir Dovydenkov — an advocate for computer literacy among the blind and the author of numerous methodological guides.
Since 2007, he has worked as an instructor of computer technologies at the Saint Petersburg Center for Medical and Social Rehabilitation for the Visually Impaired.
Additionally, for the past twenty years, Vladimir Nikolaevich has been the steadfast editor of the online portal “Tiflokomp.”
This is the oldest and largest platform dedicated to computer use without visual control.
