People across Russia are sharing images of the epic "Blood Moon," which occurs once every 15 years. From August 19 to 20, the "Sturgeon Moon" will be visible in the sky – an unusual full moon that this year coincides with a rare phenomenon known as the "Blue Moon." This rare event can be observed from Sunday morning until early Wednesday morning. During this time, the Moon is especially bright – people across the country are capturing mesmerizing images of the seemingly unnaturally bright and enormous satellite. The next similar event is expected in 2037 – it occurs approximately once every 15 years. The name "Sturgeon Moon" is connected to Native American tribes who believed this time of year was the most favorable for sturgeon fishing.
