The international music festival-contest "Moscow A Cappella" has received more than 200 applications from Russia and 12 other countries, including China, Indonesia, South Africa, Cuba, Namibia, and Belarus. Guests and residents of the capital will be treated to a wide variety of compositions in various genres—jazz, soul, rock, pop, blues, ethno-folk, and more. From August 23 to September 1, soloists and vocal groups can be heard at venues across the capital. Performances will be held in amphitheaters, on open-air stages, and on building balconies. The most extensive program will take place in Revolution Square, Manezhnaya Square, and Teatralnaya Square. The winners will be announced at the gala concert. The competition is part of the forum-festival "Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030."
