In November, the Türkiye İş Bankası – "46th Istanbul Marathon" took place. It is the only race in the world that connects two continents. This year, over 42,000 participants from around the globe started the race, running from Asia to Europe across the Bosphorus Strait. Among them was Vladimir Loshak. The Magadan resident ran 42.2 km in almost 4 hours, finishing with the Russian flag. During the "Istanbul Marathon," he completed the 21 km segment in 1 hour and 53 minutes. According to the marathon's rules, if you don’t meet the time limits, participating is futile: firstly, after 6 hours, Istanbul’s roads begin reopening, and secondly, you won’t receive a participant medal at the finish line.
