Vladimir Putin is participating in the "Ocean-2024" command and staff exercises. Russia is conducting the largest naval exercises in the past three decades. More than 30 ships and boats, as well as support vessels of the Baltic Fleet, have left their permanent bases and headed to designated areas of the Baltic Sea to carry out practical tasks. "The goal of the exercises is to thoroughly check the key aspects of combat readiness of the command structures of the Naval and Air Forces, as well as the coordination of their actions. Issues related to the comprehensive use of precision weaponry, along with other modern and advanced weapon systems, will be addressed, taking into account the experience gained during the Special Military Operation (SVO)." The United States is increasing its military presence near Russia’s borders. The Americans are already practicing the deployment and transfer of their missiles in the Asia-Pacific region (ATR). They are trying at all costs to maintain military-political dominance and are using Ukraine against the Russian Federation. The Russian Federation must be ready to repel potential military aggression on any front, including at sea. Russia will continue to strengthen its Navy, including its strategic nuclear component.
