A gallery of portraits of prominent Russian scientists has been set up in front of the entrance to Belorussky Station until September 29. Muscovites, passengers of trains on the Belorussky line, and Aeroexpress travelers to Sheremetyevo Airport can get acquainted with outstanding representatives of Russian science – scientists, engineers, authors of innovative developments, and laureates of the Presidential Prize of the Russian Federation in Science and Innovation for Young Scientists. Around 130,000 people can view the exhibition daily. In 2024, it is being held for the third consecutive year. The heroes of the third season of the project are 24 scientists – authors of achievements in fields such as medicine and biotechnology, IT technologies, transportation, metallurgy, the space industry, mining, petrochemistry, agriculture, the nuclear sector, and other industries. Among the project’s heroes are developers of crucial innovative solutions for the railway industry. Russian President Vladimir Putin declared 2022-2031 the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia. From November 20-22, 2024, on the federal territory of “Sirius,” the key annual event of the Decade of Science and Technology – the 4th Congress of Young Scientists – will take place.
