500 participants from 22 regions of Russia will fly to Beijing to showcase their talents and skills, as well as to make friends with their counterparts from China and discuss prospects for cooperation in the cultural and tourism sectors.
The event is timed to the reciprocal Years of Culture between Russia and China. According to the head of Rossotrudnichestvo, Yevgeny Primakov, the festival will be dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and China.
From June 12 to 15, at several venues in the city, including the Beijing Exhibition Center, built in 1954 by Soviet architects, the concert halls of the Beijing Association of Literature and Art, Jintai Art Galleries, the Russian House in Beijing, participants will enjoy fashion shows, gastro battles, concert programs, workshops, quizzes, ceremonies, and immersive performances. The grand opening of the festival will take place at the Shijitan venue.
