The tenth anniversary St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum will take place from September 12 to 14 and will be the main event of the fall. The project will include representatives of different cultures and nationalities – leading cultural figures, experts, heads of major cultural organizations from the country and the world, as well as representatives of authorities and businesses. The main theme of the 2024 Forum is "Culture of the 21st Century: Sovereignty or Globalism?" The business program will feature panel discussions and round tables discussing issues in cultural policy and the development of international cooperation. Guests and participants will be able to visit new exhibitions, theatrical premieres, and concerts by well-known performers. Last year, the plenary session of the forum was attended by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. The business program events at the Hermitage gathered 1,340 participants: among them were members of 51 official foreign delegations. Participants and speakers represented 92 countries.
