When the main Soviet newspaper Pravda made an error and referred to the miner-hero Stakhanov as Alexei (though his real name was Andrei), this came to Stalin's attention. The journalists could have faced serious repercussions for such a mistake. But the commander-in-chief decided otherwise. Stalin lit his pipe and categorically stated, "The Pravda newspaper never makes mistakes!". After these words, all of Stakhanov's documents were immediately changed to make him Alexei. Words carry great power. That's why it is important to master them.
