On October 18, in Moscow, at the venue of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, the first national "Paternal Recognition" award took place. The award was organized by the Commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation on demography, protection of family, children, and traditional family values, as well as by the All-Russian public organization "UNION OF FATHERS." The award is intended to recognize professionals from various fields for their contribution to the development of traditional spiritual and moral values and the promotion of the father's status in society. "These goals reflect state policy and public aspirations to create a strong and morally healthy society," the organizers said. There are 12 award categories, including for writers, artists, directors, actors, teachers, scientists, entrepreneurs, as well as for public and municipal officials. This allows the coverage of all key areas that influence the formation and support of family values in our society. The award's jury includes public and military figures, such as writer Zakhar Prilepin; actor, director, and producer Yusup Bakhshiev; writer, screenwriter, and producer Oleg Roy; theater and film actress Yana Poplavskaya, among many others.
