The competition will take place from September 25 to 27 at the river yacht club, in the class of Russian-produced yachts, MX700. 48 athletes from the Russian national team will test themselves in a new class of yachts. 48 of the best athletes from the Russian national sailing team will take part in the regatta of the Professional Sailing League, with a stage in St. Petersburg supported by the Roscongress Foundation. Athletes competing in Olympic yacht classes will be divided into 12 crews. Through a draw, each crew will be assigned a coach who will help the team master the non-Olympic class of yachts. "Professional leagues provide top athletes from Russian national teams not only with competitive practice but also with the opportunity to compete for prizes. The Professional Sailing League also guarantees our sailors in Olympic classes a new experience. They have a unique chance to test themselves in new conditions and compete with sailors from other classes," said Georgiy Bryusov, Director of the Russian National Teams' Sports Training Center.
