On April 28 and 29, 2024, the traditional tenth Moscow Half Marathon will take place in the capital. Participants in the sports event will be offered the opportunity to run several distances, the longest being 21.1 km. Registration for the 21-kilometer distance is still open. Athletes will enjoy a scenic route along the central embankments and views of Moscow's iconic landmarks. This year, in addition to the half marathon, there will be a children's run on April 28, as well as corporate and student relays. Experienced athletes – pacemakers – will help maintain the proper running pace. Also, there will be six refreshment and rehydration points along the route. At the Sports Exhibition, accessories, sports nutrition, running gear, and useful gadgets will be sold. Company stands will open, cafes will operate, relaxation zones, and platforms with various entertainments will be available. Last year, more than 13,000 athletes participated in the 21.1 km distance.
