We invite you to participate in the International Russian Language Olympiad for foreign schoolchildren, named after V.G. Kostomarov. Who can participate: High school students from foreign schools, including those with Russian as the language of instruction, as well as individual participants aged 14 to 18. Olympiad working language: Russian. Olympiad stages: Registration: https://pushkininstitute.ru/register?mode=quick (until 24:00 on September 22, 2024). Online competition on the portal: September 23 - October 1, 2024. Semifinals (online on the portal): October 2 - October 10, 2024. Publication of the list of finalists traveling to Moscow: October 14, 2024. Finals: October 30 - November 2, 2024 (in-person in Moscow). The organizers provide finalists with accommodation, meals, and a cultural program in Moscow, as well as reimbursement for travel to the Olympiad venue. Accompanying persons will also receive accommodation, meals, and a cultural program. IMPORTANT: Winners of the National Russian as a Foreign Language Olympiad in Romania gain direct access to the semifinals (stage 3) of the Olympiad without having to go through the selection round. Prizes: 1st place - a diploma granting the right to one month of free study at the Pushkin Institute (within one year of receiving the diploma). 2nd place - a diploma granting the right to two weeks of study at the Pushkin Institute (within one year of receiving the diploma). 3rd place - a diploma granting the right to free Russian language testing at the Pushkin Institute (within one year of receiving the diploma). Note: Individuals holding Russian Federation citizenship or who have applied for Russian citizenship are not eligible to participate in the Olympiad.
