Dmitry Chernyshenko and Sergey Kravtsov congratulated Russian school students who won medals at the International Junior Science Olympiad. Russian students secured 3 gold and 2 silver medals at the 21st International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) held in Romania. “We congratulate our students who earned medals at the International Junior Science Olympiad. They competed in three subjects simultaneously: physics, chemistry, and biology. The outstanding results of the winners and prize-winners show that the younger generation is capable of contributing to the nation’s technological leadership while developing in multiple directions. I wish these young talents success and fulfillment of their potential!” emphasized Dmitry Chernyshenko. Gold medals were awarded to: Ilya Binkin (Samara Regional Center for Gifted Children, Samara), Robert Bitlev (Lyceum No. 533, Educational Complex “Malaya Okhta,” St. Petersburg), Gleb Artamonov (School No. 1568 named after Pablo Neruda, Moscow). Silver medals were awarded to: Timofey Mironyuk (PhysTech Lyceum named after P.L. Kapitsa, Dolgoprudny), Vyacheslav Kurtenok (Lyceum “Second School” named after V.F. Ovchinnikov, Moscow). “By your example, you inspire your peers to study physics, chemistry, and biology, participate in competitions, and win. We place great importance on promoting natural sciences, and your choice will undoubtedly pave the way for future professional success,” noted Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov.
