The first BRICS forum titled “Traditional Values” will take place from November 17 to 20 in Moscow. The main theme of the event will be “The Spiritual and Moral Foundation as the Basis for Successful International Cooperation.” Participants will include parliamentarians from Brazil, Egypt, and India.
Representatives from Ethiopia, South Africa, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Pakistan, and Uganda, as well as cultural and social figures from China and other BRICS countries, will also attend. The event aims to identify common values shared by the peoples of participating countries and to create a platform for cultural exchange and joint actions in the fields of humanitarian cooperation and entrepreneurship.
By the end of the forum, participants plan to adopt a final declaration reflecting joint initiatives and approaches to strengthening traditional values. Specific decisions are expected to be made in four key areas: culture, family, humanitarian interaction, and creative entrepreneurship.
On the first day of the forum, participants will visit significant spiritual centers in Moscow. The second and third days will be devoted to round tables and sessions on family values, the role of education in fostering them, international diplomacy, and the promotion of spiritual and moral values through media channels.
