The "Roads of Glory - Our History" road rally sets off through the cities of Russia and Belarus From July 3 to 15, 2024, the IX annual patriotic road rally "Roads of Glory – Our History" will take place. The rally will pass through the cities and places of military glory in Russia and Belarus. This year it is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Republic's liberation. Organizers will pay special attention to the sites where Nazis executed civilians during the war. The rally will pass through Tula, Rzhev, Pskov, Vitebsk, Minsk, Brest, Grodno, Kardymovo, and Moscow. The start of the event is scheduled for July 3 at 09:00 Moscow time. The starting point of the delegation will be the Memorial Complex "Zmievskaya Balka" in Rostov-on-Don. During the Great Patriotic War, this place was the site of mass executions of local residents by German occupiers. In each city, commemorative events, meetings with patriotic youth associations and veteran organizations, and representatives of the authorities will be held. During the rally, participants will visit memorial complexes and museums dedicated to the Great Patriotic War. The key moment of the rally will be the theatrical musical program — "From War to Peace." Throughout the rally, the press center of the Rostov Regional Patriotic Public Movement — "Roads of Glory — Our History" will implement the annual project — "Historical Diary." The event has been held since 2016 at the initiative of the youth of Rostov-on-Don, supported by public diplomats with the assistance of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Rossotrudnichestvo, the Government of the Rostov Region, and others.
